LaunchDM teamed up with Pocono Raceway to provide a custom-built responsive website that was able to showcase the NASCAR and IndyCar races that are held at the track each year. The site needed to be easy to use, be aesthetically pleasing, showcase the sponsors for the races, and announce all promotions updates and schedule of events. There are also non-race promotional events throughout the year that Pocono Raceway fans can enjoy like concerts, tough mudders, wing fests, car shows, and racing schools. Being able to quickly update and promote these types of events on the site was also a key requirement for the overall success of the project.

Goals

The overall goal of the website for Pocono Raceway was to have a responsive site that showcased all of the events, was easy to use, and find information and purchase tickets for the events.

Mobile Responsive Website Redesign

Pocono Raceway’s site is still going strong and has only had some minor tweaks and updates since it launched in 2013 and we are proud to call them a true LaunchDM partner. Pocono Raceway has been utilizing the new website to market all the races at the track throughout the year as well as promoting other events that are held at the raceway. When asked how the website was working, they stated that it’s been the best marketing tool they have in their arsenal. The WordPress platform makes it easy for the marketing team to post updates on a regular basis to keep it fresh and bringing fans back to see what new and exciting things are going on at the track.

Social Garage

Another cool feature that LDM incorporated in the site is the “Social Garage” which takes all the social media posts for Pocono Raceway and brings them into a one page feed that can be sorted to easily see various posts in a quick snapshot. It’s fairly unique and there has been a lot of good feedback on this feature.
