LaunchDM recently worked alongside the Salesforce team to help introduce the latest addition to their Wear Developer Pack Collection, the Apple Watch. The collection includes a variety of open-source starter apps that allows users to quickly design and build wearable apps that connect to the Salesforce1 Platform. The website update and blog announcement came only minutes after Apple revealed the latest Apple Watch product details during a live event on Monday, March 9th.
The Salesforce Wear Developer Pack website was originally designed and developed by LaunchDM in 2014 and since, Salesforce continues to rely on the LaunchDM team to keep the site updated by continually adding newly released technologies into the mix.
For the Apple Watch product update in particular, LaunchDM helped design and build the Salesforce Wear Dev Pack for Apple Watch video which showcases the design of the Apple Watch and the WatchKit development environment. Throughout the project, LaunchDM collaborated directly with the Salesforce team in pushing the updates for the Apple Watch live, all during one short phone call.
