With all the phenomenal work done at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we knew the new website for their Pediatric Research Consortium (PeRC) had to highlight every cutting-edge discovery they’ve made that contributes to the improvement and quality of pediatric health. With a previously static site, PeRC approached LaunchDM for a fresh update to their online presence.
LaunchDM designed and programmed the new PeRC website on WordPress, building an updated framework for them to incorporate their pages. With a project goal of better promoting PeRC services and expertise to the internal and external communities, the site’s CMS (content management system) capabilities allow for PeRC admins to easily edit any information or add new content themselves.
An additional feature on the site is a Current Projects section listing the active research studies, funded by federal, local, and institutional sponsors, that are supported by The CHOP Primary Care Pediatric Network. This section allows clinicians, collaborators and patients/families to view the current studies, get a quick snapshot about each study, and contact the study team, conducting these studies for more information.
Researchers requesting to conduct their own studies in CHOP’s primary care practices can now simply fill out an Intake Form on the site, and provide their contact information and specific information directly to PeRC admins.
