Get to know the latest addition to the LaunchDM team, Brandon Riegel – Director of Business Development
Q: Tell us some of your go-to “techy” outlets that are a part of your day-to-day.
A: Recently, I’ve fallen in love with the Venmo app. It’s a super simple to setup money transfer app to payback or receive money from friends and relatives for free! I’m a budding real estate investor, so Venmo has been huge to get rent payments from tenants easily, instantly, and securely.
From a pleasure perspective, Pandora is my best friend when mowing the grass on the weekends. I’m also a huge dual monitor advocate for productivity, so my office desk matching my home office desk with dual screens to see more at once; a highly recommended efficiency booster!
Q: Name 3 things we’d be surprised to know about you.
A:
1. I’m incredibly forgetful of the simple, but important things at home such as wallet, keys, and coupons.
2. I sometimes think I can dance like Chris Brown.
3. I played in a high school football game my Junior year against Chad Henne, who is currently an NFL quarterback from right here in Reading.
Q: What’s your favorite superhero?
A: That’s a tough call – I’ve had trouble trying to decide over the last five years… Superman was always my go to because I wished I could fly, but becoming a Spider-man was much more realistic as a child than being Superman. Since the Iron Man movies have come out with Robert Downey Jr., he’s made a very strong case for my favorite. The mix of flying, technology, and crazy swagger is the ultimate superhero.
Q: What are you most afraid of?
A: Tight spaces of any kind. I think I’m claustrophobic?
Q: What do you like most about the LaunchDM team so far? Besides the team, of course.
A: The team as a whole has been incredibly welcoming, and the dynamics of our studio make work incredibly fun. The team of people here are innovative thinkers, highly intellectual, and collaborate really effectively on a day to day basis keeping everyone on the same page.
