Meet one of LaunchDM’s creatives, Adam Schweitzer
Q: Best describe yourself in 5 words.
A: Passionate, Surprising, Adaptable, Adventurous, Sensible.
Q: What are some of your go-to creative outlets and/or artists that inspire you on the regular?
A: I am one of those people that loves design in general so much, that I am pretty much constantly in a designing mindset. Even if I’m not “working” something, I’m on design related blogs, Pinterest, Dribbble… basically anything that is centered around design! I am constantly looking for cool new design trends to save for future inspiration.Â
I Â find that having a stockpile of diverse, inspiring, creative material to feed your brain with always helps keep the wheels turning when its crunch time. As far as actual artists? People like Jessica Hische, Darren Booth, Matthew Tapia, Ryan Hamrick and Luca Barcellona (to name a few) have always been a HUGE inspiration to me. I can only hope that I honor them by attempting to emulate, then building off of their styles!
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, no obstacles, where would it be?
A: I have always wanted to go to a place like Tahiti or certain regions of the Hawaiian islands to see a really huge wave roll in. I can only imagine what it would be like to watch a 40-50 foot swell roll past!
Q: Tell us 3 things we’d be surprised to learn about you.
A:Â
1. I was homeschooled my entire life (from kindergarten onwards) and graduated a homeschooler.
2. I don’t play any musical instruments. When I say that, I really do mean none whatsoever. Not even a kazoo! I have always wanted to learn how to play drums because I love music and see concerts all the time, I just never got around to taking lessons.
3. I am a big Volkswagen enthusiast. I currently own my second VW (2001 Jetta GLX) and never plan to own any other brand!
Q: What do you like most about the LaunchDM team so far? Besides the team, of course.
A: I love that I am getting the opportunity to work on projects for such big well-known clients like Penske and Pocono Raceway. To be a part of projects like this and really be included to weigh in creatively is such an awesome feeling! It’s an honor!
