The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia created The Audiological and Genetic Database (AudGenDB) as a resource for pediatric hearing health researchers. Our job was to create a public-facing site where researchers, parents and others could learn about this research project and act as a portal to the data.
The hope is that some day soon researchers from all over the world will be able to tap, add to, and crowdsource on this data bank for the benefit of children with hearing impairments.
